Hierapolis which is founded BC 197 compliments the religious history of the area with the history of murder of one of the apostles of Jesus , St.Phillip and the monuments built for his name.
Pamukkale ,which is on the World Cultural Heritage list of UNESCO,enables Turkey to be one of the most important destinations with its healing waters and travertines.
Historical artifacts found in the excavations are displayed in the Hierapolis Archelogical Museum.
